Unbounce

Product description, written by Rick Perreault of Unbounce

Unbounce is a hosted service that provides marketers the means to create, publish and test landing pages without IT or software.

The real strength of the solution is that the same person that creates the landing page can publish it live and run an A/B split test without ever touching the code.

As the “Landing Page Makeover Specialist” contributing editor on Copyblogger.com, I’ve had the chance to to review many landing page creation products. For small business marketers, Unbounce easily stands above what else is out there. Using the well-designed templates provided, users can quickly and easily create and publish quality pages in just a few minutes. Cost is very reasonable and the customer support is superb. Unbounce is a terrific resource that I’m happy to recommend.

Unbounce solves a huge problem for anyone doing internet marketing. If you do any paid advertising, you’re crazy to not have a landing page – especially if you’re a tech startup or small business.

Unbounce product is super simple and allows you to quickly A/B test pages with ease.

Unbounce is, hands down, the fastest way I’ve seen to build and test landing pages. I find it indispensable.

I use Unbounce for a few different projects, like standard online marketing campaigns but also for testing key pages on existing public websites and more private customer research sites. I turn to it when starting campaigns, since it’s speed gets the campaigns started much faster. Even for someone like me, who is technically-savvy and able to work with code, this is 3X to 10X faster than creating pages or new sites in a CMS. This allows me to create and test a lot more landing pages, which ultimately improves my conversion results and my productivity.

The tool is quite flexible. At it’s core are a dashboard to show you your conversion rates of all your landing pages and their variations, and a web-based WYSIWYG editor. Things work very smoothly – the user interface is intuitive. It’s early days so there are a few minor bugs, but for any I’ve found, there’s an easy work-around. The page builder is flexible, both in terms of visual design and technical control. You can easily manage custom CSS and various Javascripts, for example. It’s not quite as flexible as coding and hosting your own pages, but with the massive benefits of time saved and improved campaign quality, I don’t miss the DIY approach.

The customer support is great, and I’ve never needed to look at the support documentation. Full marks for documentation though, as their blog and advice has great marketing and content advice.

CrowdTamers.com teaches a “social media leverage” process for using several web applications together to create powerful results and shift your market to within your reach. One of the key elements of creating social media leverage is building and using landing pages, a process which I’ve previously taught clients to do through a number of different tools, depending on their needs.

That’s changed, though, since I’ve seen Unbounce! A combination of incredible ease of use, fast customer service, and a ample documentation to help explain anything that a user may need help with makes Unbounce a remarkable value for customers who are looking to increase conversions. As such, it’s the tool that I’m recommending my clients use now so that they can quickly and easily build landing pages that look great and function flawlessly.

If you haven’t tried Unbounce, for heaven’s sake stop reading my review and go give it a look at http://www.unbounce.com.

Having been a nontechie in a technie industry for years I always approach new technology and tools with some trepidation. I do not have the time to learn a complex process that need constant work.

It is good to say that Unbounce is not a problem to use and takes a max of a few hours to produce a ready page. If you have any bit of technological prowess you will be up in much less time; I just made a number of obvious mistakes.

The good things is the team listens and is ready for feedback. Some of my comments have already been incorporated into the tool.

GIve it a try you will find it worth it.

This is a good product but sadly the other reviews appear to fake.

Unbounce is a good product but really it is a glorified HTML editor with some basic templates provided- nothing you couldn’t do for free. The split testing is nothing compared with GWO or Visual website optimizer. Furthermore, they require you to host the pages on their server, which means you often loose your main site design, which hammers conversion rates. With no easy way to export it, you still need an IT team to take the finished product back to your site.

Lastly, the pricing is based on impressions, which means that for low value, high volume sales (like ours), this product is very expensive.

To be honest, I’m struggling to set this up right now. As such, I’m not exactly it’s biggest fan. I’m not sure whether we’re being a little stupid and missing something obvious but we can even set it up.

    I love unbounce.
It is easy to use, has an addictive UI and provides exactly what I was looking for: a very good WYSIWYG-editor, combined with basic testing.
This guy Chis M totally missed the point: of course you can get most of this stuff for free. If you are willing to work with different solutions and don´t mind spending time to get them to work together.
But if you are looking for a one-stop solution for a reasonable price, unbounce is your choice.
And yes, their customer support is one of the best I´ve ever experienced.
